Sasquatch parts has a few factory looking switch options that bypass BCM, but kind of pricey. If I could not buy the switch separately and ended up buying two kits to get this switch, I feel I would still be way ahead of the factory kit cost and dealer reflash cost. There might be a Colorado version with this switch, but I did not find it.

I think this is a great factory looking solution for the switch if you do not have factory trailer brake controller. But, if I had it to do all over again, I would get an eBay Colorado kit and also purchase a Canyon kit like this for the switch Fog Light Kit on eBay.

My only issue with the eBay kits was with the switch, most looked cheesy to me, tough there are plenty of switch options. You have to run a harness, but need to with factory kit also. Your mileage may vary.Īs far as the eBay kits, they seem pretty good and most have good feedback. Still working on this with them, but they are less than helpful and I am trying to escalate it. I have confirmed the fog light indicator is there and working, via a scan tool, but latest reply from my dealer is that there is an issue with my instrument cluster and for whatever reason, not inclined to fix it under warranty. Installation was no problem, but after I took to the dealer to get BCM reflashed they are unable to get the correct dash indicator light to work. I went this route thinking, hey all GM, has to be good. So for what it is worth, here is my two cents.įirst option is of course the factory kit. Oy! This issue has plagued me on my 2019 WT Trim.
